Orahovica wine-producing region is traversed by the 45^th parallel, as are some of the most important wine regions in the world. Being bounded by Papuk mountain from the south and river Drava from the north, Orahovica enjoys a microclimate perfectly suited for viticulture. Martin and Albus sites are among the best winegrowing locations in Orahovica wine region. Both positions were named after historical figures who had a significant impact on the development of winegrowing and winemaking in the Orahovica region.
