The heart of traditional Slavonia, where the centuries-old heritage of the Croatian breadbasket is preserved and treasured, is home to plantations of Orahovica hazelnuts. Right there, where the mighty Papuk stretches out as a protector of preserved nature, the Orahovac hazelnut plantations reach their full potential.
We have carefully selected the finest among them and transformed them into a drinkable and fragrant nectar – Martin Albus hazelnut liqueur. The fertile soil of Papuk enriches each fruit with a special character, while gentle breezes and abundant sunlight create a symphony of natural elements. All this shapes the delicate and unique fullness of hazelnut flavor that proudly bears the sign of “Originally Croatian”.
The primary notes are roasted hazelnuts, chocolate and subtle tones of vanilla.
To make our liqueur, it is necessary to respect nature and the ongoing production process. It is thanks to the long-term maceration process of roasted hazelnuts that the perfect balance of taste and a colorful palette of aromas are created. True connoisseurs will tell you that it is precisely the slight haze that proves the authenticity, density of the liqueur and the aromaticity of natural hazelnuts. With no added artificial flavors or colors, our hazelnut liqueur reveals the pure and expressive essence of hazelnuts in every sip.
